Privacy Policy

What we collect when you visit truckquotefight.com or ask us for truck insurance quotes, what we do with it, who gets it, and the choices you have.

At a glance

  • Who we are. TruckQuoteFight is a brand of Class Insurance AIC LLC. Quotes come from licensed insurance agents. We are not an insurance company.
  • What we collect. Your quote-form answers, your contact details, and technical data such as cookies, device details and ad-click IDs.
  • Who gets it. Our licensed agents and the insurance companies we quote with. Partner agencies get your request only if you tick the partner box on our form — see the current list on our Partners page.
  • Your texting consent stays with us. We never sell or share your text-message (SMS) opt-in with anyone.
  • AI assistant and documents. If you tick the box for texts and AI assistant calls, our AI assistant may call you; those calls are recorded. Documents you upload (loss runs, driver and vehicle details) are encrypted, used only to quote your insurance, never sold or given to partner agencies, and deleted after 2 years or sooner if you ask.
  • Ads. We use Meta and Google tools to measure and show our ads. California law calls this “sharing”.
  • Your choices. Do Not Sell or Share, access, correct or delete your information. We honour the Global Privacy Control signal. Reply STOP to any text.

01Who we are

TruckQuoteFight (truckquotefight.com) is a brand of Class Insurance AIC LLC at 201 NE Park Plaza Dr, Suite 110, Vancouver, WA 98684. In this policy, “TruckQuoteFight”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Class Insurance AIC LLC operating under the TruckQuoteFight brand.

We are an insurance agency, not an insurance company. Insurance companies decide whether to offer you coverage and at what price.

This policy covers our website, our quote form, and the calls, texts and emails that follow a quote request. It does not cover the websites or practices of insurance companies or partner agencies; they have their own privacy policies. This policy is also available на русском языке.

Sensitive personal information. Our quote form does not ask for sensitive personal information. If you use our secure documents page, you give us drivers’ license (CDL) numbers, which California law treats as sensitive personal information, together with dates of birth. We use them only to quote and place your insurance — for example, to order motor vehicle records for underwriting — and we do not use or disclose them to infer characteristics about you, and we do not sell or share them. We never ask for Social Security or bank account numbers on our website, and our AI assistant never asks for them on a call. If you later apply for insurance, more information may be needed (see section 17).

03What we collect

Information you give us

Our quote form asks about your trucks, freight, operating authority and timing, your ZIP code and (optionally) your USDOT number, then your first name, company, phone number and email. The form also shows two optional checkboxes — one for text messages from TruckQuoteFight and one for partner agencies — and we save which ones you ticked.

When you submit, we save a consent record: the exact wording you saw next to the button and checkboxes, the version of that wording, the date and time, the page address, your IP address and your browser type. We keep it to prove what you agreed to.

If you use the secure documents page we send you after your request, we collect the documents and details you enter there (section 8). We also keep what you tell us when you call, text or email us or talk with our AI assistant, and the details of any privacy request you make.

Form entries you don’t submit

Our form saves your progress as you go, so you can pick up where you left off. This means we may receive your answers and contact details as you type them, even if you never press the submit button. We use unsubmitted information only to understand where people get stuck and to measure and show our ads (for example, a reminder ad on Facebook or Google). We never call, text or email you, and never send your information to a partner agency, based on a form you didn’t submit.

Information collected automatically

When you visit, our own site code and the advertising tools described in section 9 collect:

  • pages viewed, taps and clicks, form steps, scrolling and time on page;
  • the page that sent you to us, campaign (UTM) tags and ad-click IDs from the link you followed;
  • device type, operating system, browser, language and screen size;
  • your IP address (our hosting provider also uses it to deliver the site and protect it from attacks).

We give your browser a random visitor ID, stored in a first-party cookie called cq_vid and in local storage, so we can recognise repeat visits and connect them to your quote request.

Information from other sources

  • FMCSA. If you give us a USDOT number, we look it up in the public database of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (company name, location, power units, drivers, operating status and insurance filings).
  • Advertising platforms. Reports on how our ads perform, and the click IDs they add to ad links.
  • Insurance companies. Quotes, underwriting questions and policy details for your request.
  • Partner agencies. If a partner agency received your request, it may tell us that the phone number didn’t work or that the request was a duplicate.

04How we use it

  • Answer your quote request, shop it with insurance companies, and prepare and present quotes.
  • Contact you by phone and email — and, if you ticked the box for texts and AI assistant calls, by text and by calls from our AI assistant — about your request.
  • Collect the documents insurers need (loss runs, driver and vehicle details), request loss runs from your insurers with your signed authorization, and order motor vehicle records for underwriting.
  • Check your details against public FMCSA records and grade your request (see below).
  • Decide whether our agency handles your request or — only if you ticked the partner box — offer it to partner agencies.
  • Measure and improve our website and ads, show our ads to people who visited us, and avoid showing ads to existing clients.
  • Detect bots, fraud, spam and duplicate requests, and keep our systems secure.
  • Keep records the law requires, honour opt-outs, handle privacy requests, and meet legal obligations or defend legal claims.

We will not use your information for a purpose that is incompatible with these without telling you and, where required, asking for your consent.

Automated grading

When you submit a request, our system gives it a grade from A to D. The grade is based on your answers (for example, how many trucks you run and when you need coverage), public FMCSA data about your USDOT number, and whether your contact details are complete. It helps us decide how quickly to call you and whether our agency or a partner agency is the better fit. It does not decide whether you can get insurance or what you pay — insurance companies decide that through their own underwriting. You can always call us at (360) 450-2211 and talk to a person.

05Who we share it with

Insurance companies and markets

To get you quotes, our licensed agents share the information needed with the insurance companies, managing general agents, wholesale brokers and premium finance companies we work with. They use it to quote, underwrite and service your insurance. This can include the documents, driver and vehicle details you upload, and your signed loss-run authorization, which we send to your current and past insurers to request your loss runs. When needed for underwriting, we or the insurance company order motor vehicle records (MVRs) for the drivers you list from state motor vehicle agencies or licensed MVR providers.

Partner agencies — only if you tick the partner box

If, and only if, you tick the partner box on our quote form, we may send your quote request to up to 3 licensed insurance agencies from our Partners page, so they can call or email you with quotes (including by automated means). We may send it right away, or later — for example, if about 10 days pass and we have not been able to help you ourselves.

  • Only agencies listed on the Partners page when you submitted can receive your request. An agency added later cannot.
  • What they receive: your first name, company, phone, email, ZIP code and state, USDOT number, your form answers, a short FMCSA summary, our lead grade, and a record of your partner consent (date and time, consent version, page address and IP address).
  • What they never receive: your text-message (SMS) consent, and the names of any other agencies that received your request. Partner agencies may not text you unless you give them permission directly.
  • We are paid: partner agencies pay us a fee for each request we send them. The fee does not depend on whether you buy anything.
  • Each partner agency handles your information under its own privacy policy. If you ask us to delete your information, we will also ask any partner agency that received it to delete it.

Because partner agencies pay us for requests, we treat these transfers as a “sale” of personal information under California and other state laws, and you can opt out at any time.

Service providers

Companies that help us run TruckQuoteFight and may use your information only to provide their service to us — for example Cloudflare (website hosting, database and encrypted document storage), Bland AI (AI assistant phone calls, call recording and transcription, and text messages), Twilio (text messages), Resend (email delivery), Telegram (internal alerts to our staff), and our IT, security, legal and accounting advisers. We also send the USDOT number you give us to FMCSA, a government agency, to look up public records.

Advertising platforms

We use advertising tools from Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google, and may use similar tools from TikTok or Microsoft if we advertise there. They receive information about your visit and, when you enter your contact details, a hashed version of them, so they can match your visit to an ad (section 9). They use it to measure our ads, show our ads to people who visited us, and may also use it for their own purposes under their own policies. California law calls this “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising. You can opt out (section 10).

We may disclose information when the law requires it, to respond to lawful requests from authorities, to protect the rights, property or safety of our clients, our agency or others, or to investigate fraud. If our agency or this brand is sold, merged or transferred, your information may move to the new owner, who must honour this policy for information collected under it.

What we never share. We never sell or share your text-message (SMS) opt-in or consent. Information obtained through our text-message program is not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. All of the sharing described above excludes text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

06Texts and calls

  • Texts. We text you only if you tick the box for texts and AI assistant calls on our form (or later ask us to text you). Messages are about your quote request: confirmation, a secure link for your documents and reminders about it, follow-ups, questions and quote updates. Message frequency varies with your request, plus replies to your messages. We send texts only Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 7 pm in your local time (based on your ZIP code), and no more than 3 a day. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. Full terms: Text message terms.
  • Calls. Our licensed agents call you about the request you submitted. If you ticked the box for texts and AI assistant calls, our AI assistant may call you too (section 7). If you ticked the partner box, listed partner agencies may call you too. You can tell any caller to stop. Tell us and we will record the opt-out for our agency.
  • Consent is not a condition of purchase. You can always get quotes by calling us at (360) 450-2211.

07AI assistant calls, texts and call recording

If you tick the box for texts and AI assistant calls on our form, TruckQuoteFight’s AI assistant may call and text you about your request. It is software that speaks with an artificial (AI) voice, not a person, and it says so at the start of every call.

  • What it does. Confirms your request, explains which documents insurers need and why, sends or re-sends the secure link for your documents, answers simple questions, and passes your call to a licensed agent when you ask (Monday to Friday, 7 am to 5 pm Pacific).
  • What it never does. Quote prices, bind or change coverage, give legal advice, or ask you to say a driver’s license number, date of birth, Social Security number or bank details out loud. Those details go only into our secure documents page.
  • When. Only during daytime hours in your local time (by default Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 7 pm), no more than 2 call attempts a day and 4 per request. On voicemail it leaves only our name, that it is an AI assistant, and our callback number.
  • Only with your consent. The AI assistant contacts only people who ticked that box, never based on a form you did not submit, and partner agencies never receive this consent.
  • Stop at any time. Tell the assistant “stop” or “don’t call me”, reply STOP to a text, or tell us any other way. We record the opt-out right away and stop AI calls and automated texts.

Call recording

Calls with our AI assistant are recorded and transcribed, and calls with our agents may be recorded. The assistant tells you at the start of the call; if you don’t want to be recorded, say so or hang up and call us at (360) 450-2211. We use recordings, transcripts and call summaries to follow up on what you asked, check quality, keep records of consent and opt-outs, and resolve disputes. Our voice service provider (Bland AI) processes them for us as a service provider. We do not sell them or use them for advertising, and we keep them for up to 2 years unless we need them longer for a legal claim.

08Documents you upload (loss runs, driver and vehicle data)

After you ask for quotes, we may text you a link to a secure page where you can upload loss runs, sign a loss-run authorization, and enter your drivers and your trucks and trailers.

  • Why. Only to quote and place your commercial truck insurance: insurers price your policy on your claims history, your drivers’ records and your equipment.
  • How we protect it. The link is personal and expires after 30 days. Everything travels encrypted (HTTPS). Files are kept in private, encrypted storage and are never available at a public web address. Driver’s license numbers and dates of birth are encrypted again, separately; after you save them, the page shows only the last 4 characters of the license number and the birth year.
  • Who sees it. Only our licensed agents and staff who need it to work on your quote (every view of a full license number or birth date is logged), the insurance companies and markets we quote with, your current and past insurers (to request loss runs with the authorization you signed), and service providers that store it for us. It is never sold and never sent to partner agencies or advertising platforms.
  • How long. 2 years after you upload it, then deleted. If you become our client, the parts that go into your insurance file are kept as insurance record-keeping laws require (section 17).
  • Deletion on request. Ask us any time — by phone, email, a reply to our text, or our request form — and we will delete your uploaded documents and driver and vehicle details, unless the law requires us to keep them.
  • Other people’s information. Please list only drivers who agreed that you may give us their details for insurance quoting.

Motor vehicle records (DPPA and FCRA). We order motor vehicle records only for insurance underwriting and rating — a use the federal Driver’s Privacy Protection Act permits — and only with the driver information you give us. We do not use motor vehicle records or claims history for employment decisions or any purpose other than your insurance, and we do not resell them. If a report used for your insurance is a consumer report under the Fair Credit Reporting Act and it leads to an adverse action (for example, a higher rate or a declined application), you will be told, and you can get a free copy of the report and dispute anything inaccurate.

09Cookies and pixels

Cookies and similar tools (local storage, pixels and tags) are small pieces of data or code that let a website remember your browser. We use:

cq_vid (our cookie and local storage)
A random visitor ID. Recognises repeat visits, connects them to your request and measures our ads. Kept up to 400 days.
cq_* (local storage)
Saves your form progress and site events that have not been sent yet, on your own device.
tqf_docs_* (session storage)
On our secure documents page only: keeps your personal link and chosen language in that browser tab until you close it. The documents page loads no advertising pixels or other third-party code.
Meta Pixel and Conversions API
Cookies such as _fbp and _fbc (up to 90 days). Measures our Meta ads and builds audiences for them. When you submit a request, our server also sends Meta a “Lead” event with your contact details in hashed form (email, phone, first name, ZIP code and city), a hashed visitor ID, your IP address, browser type and these IDs. If you later buy a policy through us, we may send a “Purchase” event with the premium amount.
Google Ads and Google Analytics
Cookies such as _ga and _gcl_au (Google sets their lifetime, up to about 2 years). Measures our Google ads and site usage, including “enhanced conversions” that use your email, phone, first name and ZIP code in hashed form.
Other ad platforms
TikTok or Microsoft tools, only if we advertise there, for the same purposes.
Customer lists
We may upload hashed contact lists to Meta and Google to reach people who asked us for quotes or to stop showing ads to existing clients.

Your controls: block or delete cookies in your browser settings; turn on Global Privacy Control; use the button on our Your privacy choices page; or change your ad settings at Meta and Google. Blocking cookies does not stop the quote form from working. There is no common standard for “Do Not Track” signals, so we do not respond to them; we do honour Global Privacy Control.

10Your privacy choices

  • Opt out of sale and sharing. Use our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page. You can turn it off for your current browser with one tap, and opt out by name, email or phone with the form.
  • Global Privacy Control (GPC). If your browser or a browser extension sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of the sale and sharing of personal information collected through that browser. While the signal is on, our site does not load advertising pixels, and a quote request sent from that browser is not sold to partner agencies or sent to advertising platforms. If we can connect the browser to you (for example, you submitted a quote request from it), we apply the opt-out to that request too. You do not need to do anything else.
  • Partner agencies. Leave the partner box unticked. If you already ticked it, you can opt out later; it stops future transfers.
  • Texts. Reply STOP to any text from us.
  • Calls and emails. Tell our agent, reply to any email from us, call us, or use the request form (“Stop contacting me”).

11California privacy rights

If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) gives you these rights:

  • Right to know and access — the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have about you, the sources, why we collect it, and the categories of companies we disclose, sell or share it to. You can ask up to twice in 12 months.
  • Right to delete personal information we collected from you, with legal exceptions (for example, records we must keep under insurance or telemarketing laws).
  • Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to opt out of the sale and sharing of your personal information.
  • Right to limit use of sensitive personal information — we do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that give rise to this right.
  • Right not to be discriminated or retaliated against for using these rights. We do not offer financial incentives for personal information.

What we sell, share and disclose

  • Sold to licensed insurance agencies (partner agencies), only for people who ticked the partner box: identifiers, customer records, commercial information, professional or business information, approximate location and inferences.
  • Shared with advertising platforms (Meta, Google and, if we use them, TikTok or Microsoft): identifiers (including hashed contact details), customer records (hashed), internet and device activity, and approximate location.
  • Disclosed for business purposes to service providers and to insurance companies we quote with: all categories listed in section 2, as needed for their role.

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.

“Shine the Light”

California residents may ask once a year for the categories of personal information we disclosed to third parties for their own direct marketing in the prior calendar year, and the names and addresses of those third parties. Partner agencies may use your request to market insurance to you, so this applies to them. Send your request by email or mail.

12Other U.S. states

Many states give residents rights similar to California’s: to access, correct and delete personal data, to get a portable copy, and to opt out of the sale of personal data, targeted advertising and certain profiling. They include Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Virginia.

We honour these requests from anyone in the United States, whether or not their state’s law applies to us. Opting out of sale and sharing also opts you out of targeted advertising by us. Our automated grade (section 4) does not decide whether you get insurance or what it costs.

Appeals. If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our answer or emailing privacy@truckquotefight.com with “Appeal” in the subject. We will answer within the time your state requires (usually 45 to 60 days). If you disagree with the result, you can contact your state attorney general.

13How to make a request

  • Where: our privacy request form, by phone at (360) 450-2211, or by email at privacy@truckquotefight.com.
  • Verification: opt-outs do not need verification. For access, deletion and correction, we match the details you give us (such as the phone and email you used on our form) with our records, and may call, text or email you to confirm. For copies of specific pieces of information, we need a higher level of certainty. We use the details you give us only to handle your request.
  • Authorized agents: someone you authorise can make a request for you. We will ask for your signed permission and may ask you to verify your identity with us directly.
  • Timing: we act on opt-outs as soon as possible and within 15 business days. We confirm other requests within 10 business days and answer within 45 days (we may extend once by another 45 days and will tell you why).
  • Cost: free. We may decline or charge a reasonable fee for requests that are clearly unfounded or excessive, and will explain why.

14How long we keep it

  • Quote requests, contact details and consent records: 5 years after our last contact with you, to help with your insurance and to prove consent under telemarketing laws. Then we delete or de-identify them.
  • Text-message and call records (dates, times, outcomes, opt-outs): 5 years.
  • Call recordings and transcripts: up to 2 years.
  • Uploaded documents, driver and vehicle details and loss-run authorizations: 2 years after upload, or sooner if you ask us to delete them (section 8).
  • Website activity and visitor profiles: up to 25 months, then deleted or combined into statistics that do not identify you.
  • Opt-out and do-not-contact records: as long as needed to honour them; we keep only the phone number or email and the date.
  • Privacy request records: at least 24 months, as California regulations require.
  • Client insurance files: as long as state insurance record-keeping laws require, usually 5 to 7 years after the policy ends.

We may keep information longer if the law requires it, or to resolve a dispute or legal claim.

15Security

We use reasonable safeguards for the kind of information we hold: encryption in transit (HTTPS), encrypted private storage for uploaded documents with separate encryption for driver’s license numbers and dates of birth, password-protected staff accounts with limited access and logged access to full license numbers, signed and secured deliveries to partner agencies, and records of activity. No system is completely secure. If a data breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as the law requires.

16Children

Our services are for trucking businesses and adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child gave us information, contact us and we will delete it.

17If you become a client

When you apply for or buy insurance through us, we collect more information — for example payment details and application answers — in addition to the driver, vehicle and loss information described in section 8. That information is also protected by federal and state insurance privacy laws, such as the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and state insurance information privacy laws, and we will give you our separate insurance privacy notice. Where those laws apply, they may replace or limit some of the rights described above.

18Changes to this policy

We will post any changes on this page and update the “Last updated” date at the top. If a change is material, we will tell you more prominently — for example, with a notice on our site — and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
